Meatball Parmesan Skillet

    Prep: Note that this recipe prefers a cast-iron skillet. Preheat the oven to 375°. Place a 12-inch cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil to the skillet.

    Make marinara: See other recipe page for steps & ingredients. If desired, blend the marinara to reduce the size of tomato chunks.

    Make meatballs: See other recipe page for steps & ingredients. Using a 2-tablespoon scoop (or just eyeball it), portion out meatballs and roll into a ball. Place meatballs into the skillet. Flip once golden-brown.

    Bake: Pour marinara over meatballs once the meatballs are browned. Place skillet in the oven & bake for 15 minutes, or until cooked through. Then, sprinkle the meatballs with the cheeses & continue baking until melted (3-5 min). Remove from oven and sprinkle with basil and parsley, if desired.
