Prep: Heat oven to 375°. You'll need a medium and large bowl.

Make dough: Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, beat well. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture in large bowl, beating until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips.

Bake: Drop by teaspoons or your desired size onto ungreased cookie sheet. I usually roll my dough into a ball. Between batches, place dough in fridge to keep cool. Bake 8-10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove cookies from baking sheet to a wire rack.
